AI & The
Creative
Shift

AI: impact on the design industry

An independent research talk on how generative AI is reshaping creative work: where the technology actually stands, what it changes in roles, teams and the economics of design, and how creatives adapt.

It traces the pattern of change from the printing press to the camera to AI, backs it with adoption data and emerging-role maps, and lands on the skills, ethics and tool landscape needed to direct AI rather than compete with it.

About

Portrait of Sergiu Levinta

Twenty years across product UX, interfaces, motion and brand.

I’m a creative lead with a systems backbone. I’ve run the full arc: research, concept, visual language, motion, the design system and the ship date. Lately I’ve rebuilt that arc around AI, for faster exploration with the same taste. I set direction, and I keep enough craft to make direction concrete.

Creative by instinct and logical by process, I bring an inventive mind, refined aesthetic judgement and structural thinking to every brief, with the range to take a project from rough concept to polished reality.

How I work

Direction leads, craft keeps it honest.

Craft

Hands-on production: interfaces, motion, prototypes, systems.

  • Interfaces
  • Motion
  • Iconography

A human-led loop, accelerated by AI at every phase.

  1. Define

    Frame the problem.
    AI drafts the brief.

  2. Research
